Lakewood Oaks Country Club Junior Golf Academy
Annually during the summer we provide two week long clinics designed to provide an excellent opportunity for junior golfers to learn or improve their technical skills as well as develop strong course management skills. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience level in order to create the most favorable learning environment possible. Clinic will focus on:
- Swing Fundamentals
- Short Game
- Skill Challenges
- Tournament Play
- Rules and Etiquette
Every Tuesday afternoon throughout the summer we will host “Play Days”. Each Play Day will begin with a 30 minute clinic at one of the practice areas. After each clinic juniors will head out on the golf course for 3, 6, or 9 holes of play (depending on age and skill level).

Non Golf MembersGreat Summer Fun for the Kids! Each summer we provide 3 sessions of 3-week lessons for Junior Golfers. Each Session is $60 (Max 8 Juniors Per Class). Individual and small Group lessons are available for Junior Golfers ages 5-17. Please contact the golf shop at 816.373.6886 to set up your lesson package.
Our golf staff takes into account your child’s age, experience, goals and physical abilities. The Junior Golf Program at Lakewood Oaks Country Club emphasizes safety, fun, and excellence in teaching your child the great game of golf.
